This is Ms. Hailey’s first year at Maria Montessori Academy, and she is excited to be part of a school that values connection, curiosity, and the whole child. Before joining MMA, she worked as a behavioral technician for four years, supporting children with various learning and behavioral needs. Most recently, she was an associate teacher in a kindergarten classroom, where she fell in love with the joy and energy of early childhood education. She is currently pursuing her elementary education teaching credential through Weber State University.

Over the years, she’s held just about every kind of job working with kids—soccer camp coach, writing camp counselor, tutor, birthday party fairy, nanny, and even a youth climbing instructor. These jobs taught her how to be creative, flexible, and always ready to meet kids where they’re at.

Originally from California, she recently moved to the area and is enjoying getting to know the community. Outside of the classroom, she loves journaling, rock climbing, and hiking.
