Meridian Rasmussen grew up in Ogden, Utah, and has always had a heart for working with children. She has experience as both an Early Literacy Assistant and a Montessori Assistant, and she is currently working toward her state teaching license as well as her Montessori certification. Meridian was introduced to the Montessori method through her boyfriend, who attended MMA when it first opened. Hearing how the school sparked a lifelong love of learning and curiosity in him inspired her to follow the same path and share that experience with her own students.

Coming from a long line of educators, Meridian values putting children’s needs first and nurturing their natural curiosity, passions, and love for learning. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her golden retriever, Mable.
