Go Mountain Lions!

We have an extraordinary team of Jr. High teachers with an array of education backgrounds as well as passions for sports, theater, music, science, and more. They care deeply about the students as a whole child and really work with and pay attention to the personal needs and interests of students, their social and emotional well being and their academics.

Curriculum

Our Junior High program follows the Utah Core Standards to prepare the students for high school. We are guided by Montessori values such as following the child, independence and buidling community. We offer students opportunities for outdoor education, self-expression, leadership and sports. We have competiive sports at Maria Montessori Academy!

Grades 6-9 participate in cross country, soccer and basketball.

Our Junior high teachers, Ms. Lauren, Mr. Zach, Mr. Todd and Mr. David are outstanding coaches who value dedication, hard work and team work! No matter what your skill level is, you are WELCOME to play and have fun!
