Beginning school year 2026-2027, Maria Montessori Academy will offer breakfast and lunch to students, staff, and visitors each day school is in session. The cost of these meals is dependent upon various factors, however because we expect to be approved on the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast program (SBP), some students will qualify for free or reduced-price meals once they submit an eligibility application beginning in July 2026.
The goal for our meal programs is to provide delicious, healthy meals made from scratch in our kitchen, ideally from as many locally-procured items as possible.
View the program goals above for more information.

Please provide a nutritional lunch including juice or milk.
Soda, caffeinated beverages, and candy are not permitted. Fast food is not to be brought to the school as a lunch substitute.
Lunch boxes should be labeled clearly with the student’s name. We encourage all students at our school to help reduce waste by bringing lunch in reusable containers. Please help us learn to keep our environment clean and healthy.
Student lunches cannot be refrigerated at school, so please include an ice pack if the lunch is perishable.
There are microwave ovens available for warming, but food should be already cooked and require less than two minutes heat time.
