Open Enrollment starts in:
Maria Montessori Academy’s 2025-2026 school year Open Enrollment (OE) period will start on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The first lottery draw for priority students (students of employees and siblings of students) will be held January 20, 2025. The second lottery draw, for the general population, will be done on February 3, 2025. At that point, we will continue to draw students on an as-needed basis. Maria Montessori may enroll up to 750 K-9 students.
If you have current students who may have siblings that already attend Maria Montessori Academy, you will need to enter those siblings in the open enrollment period, starting January 6, 2025. By adding a new sibling, it does not guarantee a spot for the 2025-2026 school year. This student will be entered into the lottery.
Please keep in mind if you previously enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year and your child was not selected through the lottery program, you will need to re-enroll in the database for the 2025-2026 school year.
Students not chosen through the lottery program will not be “rolled over” to the next school year.
Current students will not need to re-apply through the lottery; instead, they will complete the registration process using their Aspire account. Please follow directions in the email sent.
A lottery will be held after each open enrollment period ends. All children must be at least five years old on or before September 1 for the school year in which they are enrolling. Families will be notified via email of their child’s acceptance into the school via email. Families selected will be notified of the next in the registration process and what timeline they will need to follow. This email is not the official registration, but will contain information to finalize this information.
Siblings of current Maria Montessori Academy students will receive enrollment preference. If there are more students wanting to be in the school than there are positions available, a computerized random lottery will be run. Additional lotteries will be held on an as-needed basis.
