Our facility is outfitted with a 10.0 kWh solar panel array. The array consists of 40 panels that are located on the roof of the school’s main building. The solar panels generate 17,000.0 KWH annually. To see real-time data on how much coal-powered energy our solar panels are displacing, please visit our: solar generation page.
We would love to hear from you!
If you have any comments or questions about our solar panel project, please email Bonnie Hagen, our grant writer, at bonniehagen@gmail.com.
The solar project was made possible in part by more than 30,000 Utah residential and business customers participating in Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky renewable energy program – a voluntary green power program that provides a simple and convenient way to support the development of new renewable energy resources in the West, including projects like this one.
The Blue Sky program is one aspect of Rocky Mountain Power’s environmental commitment that also includes efforts in the following areas:

The Blue Sky Block Program was started in 2000 as a way to provide customers an option to help build demand for renewable energy and to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Since 2006, Rocky Mountain Power has teamed up with their Blue Sky customers to support community-based, non-residential projects that provide strong environmental, economic and educational benefits to their customers and communities. Over 50 community-based projects have received support through the Blue Sky program in the state of Utah.
More than 76,000 customers currently participate in the Blue Sky Program. For as little as $1.95 a month, community members like you can support regional wind energy and local renewable energy projects.
