Sara is a lifelong learner. She is currently attending Weber State University full-time working toward her elementary education degree. She discovered that she liked working with kids when she was a student in high school. After working in a preschool classroom and as a director at a local childcare center, she decided she didn't want to be in the office but in a classroom. She started at Maria Montessori Academy as a frequent substitute for the 2014/2015 school year. The following year she found her place in a classroom where she remained until 2023. Sara took a school year exploring other types of schools and returned to MMA knowing Montessori teaching is where he heart belongs. Her students says she is very encouraging and wants them to be amazing humans. Sara is a solo parent to an amazing high school student, she has a house full of furry pets and a lizard named Charlie who joins her in the classroom.
