Ms. Alexia holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography Teaching, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, from Weber State University. Her teaching experience includes a practicum at North Davis Jr. High and student teaching at Roy Jr. High. Ms. Alexia has a lifelong passion for geography, exploring cultures, and learning about places around the world. As a child, she loved staring at atlases and dreaming of one day exploring those destinations herself. Ms. Alexia joined Maria Montessori Academy mid-year during the 2024–25 school year. She emphasizes building strong relationships with students to create a sense of trust and belonging. She creates an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students connect academic concepts to real-world experiences. Passionate about inspiring curiosity and a lifelong love of learning, Ms. Alexia looks forward to supporting Maria Montessori Academy students and families for years to come!
