Native to Utah pretty much my whole life. A mother of 3 kids (27 yr old daughter, 24 yr old daughter, 19 year old son). Married for 28 years. Stay at home mom until 8 years ago and decided to go back to school and get my degree in teaching after enjoying much time volunteering in my children's classrooms. I started working on my bachelors through WGU while I was working as an assistant for a reading specialist at a local school and then helped for a short time in the Sped area. Beginning of 2021, I started my student teaching and when I was finished I was able to work as an assistant for two 1st grade teachers until I landed my first teaching job here at MMA in 2022. I continued working through WGU to get my masters in Curriculum and Instruction which I finished in 2023. Right now I'm currently working on my Montessori training. I have been working at MMA for 3 years now and I have enjoyed working with an amazing kindergarten team. I love watching my students grow and seeing the sparks in their eyes as they achieve their goals that they work so hard towards. I enjoy running half marathons when I have the time train for one (Ogden Marathon is my favorite). My favorite hobbies include digital scrapbooking, reading, and  photography. I enjoy spending summers at our family cabin in Island Park, ID.
