Donnell Ross (Ms. Nell)  earned her Bachelor’s Degree, Special Education Certificate, and her Master’s Degree from Weber State University.  During her 30 year career as a teacher, she has been a junior high teacher, in the area of history and reading, a 4th grade teacher, and a Special Education Teacher in grades K-3.  As a Special Education Teacher, she celebrates learning differences in her students and works creatively to meet their needs. She is excited to be a part of a Montessori learning community that celebrates the learning differences of all of their students and provides hands-on learning opportunities at an individualized pace.  

Ms. Nell grew up as a part of a military family living in a variety of places across the United States before her family finally settled permanently in the Ogden area when she was a teenager.   Ms. Nell loves all mountain adventures- fishing, camping, hiking, and skiing. Teaching has been her lifelong hobby and love.  She is married and has two adult children and two granddaughters.  Her favorite adventure buddy is her Chocolate Lab, Brooklyn, who tolerates her three cats.  She also loves playing board games, eating dark chocolate, and spending time with and spoiling her little granddaughters.
