I came to MMA because I was looking for an opportunity where I could continue working

with children while also growing as an educator. After many years of teaching, I wanted

to experience a different approach to education and learn more about Montessori

philosophy. I was especially drawn to MMA because of its focus on the whole child,

independence, and creating a strong learning community.

What I love about Montessori education is that students are given opportunities to

become independent, responsible learners. I really appreciate that children are

encouraged to work at their own pace, make choices, and take ownership of their

learning. As a teacher, I have always believed that not every child learns in the same

way or at the same pace, so I love seeing an educational philosophy that represents the

things I value too.

I’m passionate about my family and spending quality time with them. Family has always

been very important to me, and I really value creating memories together. This past

year, we took a family trip to Disneyland, and we had an amazing time. Experiences like

that remind me how important it is to slow down, enjoy the people you love, and make

memories together.
