Lisa Holliday Mukabire teaches Music (K-9) and runs the school library. I have a BA in Theatre, with a Minor in English, and I have a Master of Art in Teaching and Learning. I have taught for 13 years at 8 different schools. I grew up in Missouri, and I have lived in Utah, California, Kuwait, and United Arab Emirates. I started the Theatre program at 4 schools (including MMA). This is my second time teaching at MMA, and I am so excited to be back! My husband, Geofrey, is from Uganda, and he became a US Citizen in 2019. I have 2 children--Elijah (5th Grade) and Esther (1st Grade)--who attend MMA. In my "free time", I run a nonprofit organization called Subi Foundation, which provides educational resources for villages in Uganda. Ultimately, I hope to build a Primary School in Uganda. I love singing, playing the piano, reading, and watching movies with my family.
