I'm so grateful to join MMA this year. I graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Film Studies and from Weber State University with a BA in Theatre and English Education. I taught Art Humanities, English, and Theatre at Syracuse Arts Academy, then took a 13 year break to stay home with my two boys while they were little. During those years I taught private Piano, Violin, and Voice lessons, which I have been teaching off and on for 28 years. I returned to public school teaching last year and taught 8th grade English at Highland Jr High in Ogden. I'm so excited to teach 7th/8th grade English and Visual Arts this school year!
