Born and raised in New York City, Lauren has always been passionate about working with children. She began her journey in early childhood education at a children’s fitness center and later shared her love of theater by teaching at the community theater where she grew up. After studying Theatre Arts and Business / Entrepreneurship in college, Lauren joined the Walt Disney Company, where her focus remained on children’s development and learning. Her curiosity about how children grow and learn led her to begin teaching in schools in 2021, a decision she has never regretted. Social-emotional learning is at the heart of her teaching philosophy, making her transition to Montessori education seamless and fulfilling. Outside the classroom, Lauren enjoys the company of her three fur babies and her supportive fiancée, with whom she shares a love for Disney, Dungeons & Dragons and anything coffee or chocolate. She feels truly at home in Utah and at MMA, and she is excited about the future ahead.
